Deebo Samuel gets destroyed by Twitter community note after saying he’s not struggling this season (he is)

Aside from the Dallas Cowboys downfall, the second-best downfall of the 2024 season has to go to Deebo Samuel and his San Francisco 49ers.

While they’re still technically in the postseason hunt, this season has been pretty awful for Deebo and the boys. Brandon Aiyuk and Christian McCaffrey are out for the year and sitting at 6-7, they’ll be lucky if they get in.

The whole team has struggled throughout the season, including Deebo Samuel. A big fan of running his mouth and saying nonsense, Twitter’s community notes decided to take action against Deebo’s false information.

Following this past week’s game, he Tweeted, “Not struggling at all just not getting the ball!!!!!” That in of itself is a false statement, as Deebo is second on the team in touches with 72. Instead of just pointing this fact out, Twitter decided to take it a step further, hitting him with the harsh truth that he is, in fact, struggling this season because he leads the team in drops.

With five drops on the year, he does lead his team in drops. Instead of standing on business, Deebo decided to delete this Tweet — like a coward.

I almost hope this team sneaks into the postseason, only to get pile driven by the Eagles in the first round.
