Eagles make six roster moves ahead of Week 17 matchup vs. Cowboys
The Philadelphia Eagles made a flurry of roster moves ahead of Sunday’s divisional matchup against the Cowboys.

With Jalen Hurts ruled out, Ian Book will likely be inactive on Sunday and serve as the emergency QB. Book would’ve required a gameday spot if he had been elevated from the practice squad rather than signed to the 53-man roster.
Britain Covey was placed on injured reserve with a neck injury, ending his regular season. Covey could theoretically return for the NFC Championship Game, if the Eagles get that far.
RB Tyrion Davis-Price will take the place of rookie RB Will Shipley, who’s missing Sunday’s contest with a concussion. LB Dallas Gant takes Nakobe Dean’s spot.
DE Bryce Huff makes his return after missing time with a wrist injury. DE Charles Harris was waived after joining the team last month.
Backup QB Kenny Pickett will lead the Eagles this weekend with a chance to clinch the division and the NFC’s No. 2 seed.
