Things That Never Happened: Giants fan too scared to wear team’s gear at The Linc harassed by Eagles fans over a Nebraska hat
A New York Giants fan has claimed he was too scared to wear his team’s gear (true) at The Linc in Week 18 but it didn’t matter, because he was still harassed by Eagles fans over the Nebraska hat that he wore to the game.
Obviously, that never happened which I’m sure you figured that out already. I could only imagine the riveting content on whatever the podcast called Talkin’ Giants was this year.
Outside of the Daniel Jones humiliation ritual of making your once-franchise quarterback play safety during practice, New York and North Jersey football as a whole was an absolute snooze fest all year but we can recap what specifically happened with the Giants for those who weren’t paying attention.
After a 3-14 disaster of a season, capped off by cutting Jones mid-year and watching Saquon Barkley dominate for their biggest division rival, I think the entire NFL was SHOCKED to see village idiot John Mara make the decision to bring back head coach Brian Daboll and GM Joe Schoen next year. In fact, the decision to bring back anyone involved with the train-wreck that is the New York Giants just screams organizational malpractice.
New York Giants:
- 3-14 record: Dead last in the NFC East.
- No franchise quarterback: Jones is gone, and there’s no clear plan moving forward.
- Saquon in Philly: Watching your best player put up a historic season for your biggest rival is salt in the wound.
The Gift That Keeps on Giving: John Mara is bringing back Brian Daboll and GM Joe Schoen
Unless of course, you hit that Philadelphia Eagles Engagement Farm and make up ridiculous stories about how you were harassed at The Linc in Week 18. For a team and fanbase so irrelevant, desperate times call for desperate measures, I guess.
New York Giants Fan LIES on Social Media about Eagles fans in Week 18
Giants Fan / Talkin’ Giants Video Notes:
You didn’t have to admit you were a fraud. One look at you, Talkin’ Giants, and your fake Seat Geek partnership was enough to expose you before you even started The Great Lie.
Wearing a St. Peter’s Prep sweatshirt, a Catholic, Jesuit college preparatory school in Jersey City is arguably worse than wearing a Talkin’ Giants sweatshirt.
The Giants fan’s apparel choices were pretty irrelevant anyways since he was wearing a big winter jacket over everything…was this just a ploy to drop some high school knowledge with a quick podcast promotion? Seems like it.
The irrelevant Nebraska Hat…lol
“From the moment I sat down” – Yeah, I bet.
I have no idea why opposing fan bases continue to post videos like this.
It’s just another trip down to the Philly Sports Engagement Farm, right?
Anyone who has attended an Eagles game knows that none of this ever happens and on the rare occasion it does, it’s just a drunk fan taking a few quick jabs.
To Be Clear: Literally no one was giving this dude shit about Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola. If you’re going to make something up, at least make it believable.
- “What the hell is Nebraska?”
- “Who’s that QB Dylan Raiola?”
- “They went on and on and on…”
Blah blah blah. Honestly, I’m insulted that this dude is even trying to “sell this story” to anyone listening to Talkin’ Giants. It’s an insult to other Giants fan’s intelligence and really, Eagles fans and the city of Philadelphia in general.
For someone who was harassed and from an opposing fanbase that LITERALLY hosts a podcast, this dude is either horrible at his job and should leave the content game immediately for not getting a single video clip of the alleged incident, or you guessed it, this never happened.
That organization and fanbase has been through enough already and now they have one of their own making shit up online and looking even more embarrassing that John Mara and company did on Hard Knocks.
Nasty stuff. Nasty, nasty, stuff. At the very least, this Giants fan promised to never return to Philadelphia, so that’s just another win in my book. On top of that, I promise I won’t keep writing about the New York Giants for at least the next several months.
I try to ignore them but I simply can’t help myself. Their pain, my pleasure. I hope they all have terrible Winters, Springs, a horrible NFL Draft and a miserable Summer- leading into another disaster-class of an NFL season.
