AJ Brown does not care if you have a problem with him reading books on the sideline
AJ Brown’s war against sports media has been one of my favorite sidebars of his tenure here in Philadelphia.
Every single time the guy does something, the media wants to write a column about it. In a way, it’s a compliment — not many athletes have that kind of pull. AJ Brown does, and every time the media tries to tear him down, he makes them look stupid.
After he was seen reading ‘Inner Excellence’ during the Eagles Wildcard game against Green Bay, every analyst has shared their opinion about it. Most seem to have a problem with it. Greg Jennings went on a rant about it, local media has shared their dismay with it.
To those who’ve given AJ Brown shit for it, he has a very simple rebuttal for you: He does not care.
AJ Brown: “Who cares who don’t like it. I’m a 3X All-Pro”

AJ Brown isn’t perfect. There have been times where I wish he would’ve just kept certain things to himself, like when he said the passing game was a problem earlier this year. In this instance, I stand behind Brown 100%.
This is just another media manufactured story to try and get clicks. Nothing more, nothing less. No one in the locker room has said anything negative about AJ Brown reading on the sideline. Nick Sirianni even said he loves it and that he wants Brown to keep doing it.
It’s a shame that sports media can’t let shit like this go. Very weird stuff.
