WATCH: Saquon Barkley’s 78-yard dagger with just crowd noise is a signature Eagles playoff moment

The Eagles rode two Saquon Barkley runs to a 28-22 victory over the LA Rams in the NFC Divisional Round. As electrifying as his runs were live, who in Philadelphia doesn’t love a highlight with just crowd noise in the background?

Saquon Barkley set the Linc on fire with a 78-yard run for his second touchdown run of the game:

God damn. Does it get any better than that?

Philadelphia fans are the best in sports. The playoff atmosphere at Lincoln Financial Field is unlike anything else across the league, and while that comes through on the broadcast, dropping the commentary from the play accentuates just how wild that place can get.

Plus, it’s always nice to watch a highlight without known clown Chris Collinsworth rambling incoherently about the play and somehow working in a Patrick Mahomes reference. This was a pure, beautiful moment.

We’ve become accustomed to Saquon snapping off 60+ yard runs against the Rams this season. He tallied four of them in two matchups, totaling 460 rushing yards.

Of course, this isn’t just an anomaly against the Rams. Barkley rushed for 2,005 yards in the regular season, becoming the ninth player in NFL history to cross the 2k mark.

We are legitimately witnessing what is potentially the greatest offensive by a Philadelphia Eagle in the history of the franchise. Now, the road to the Super Bowl runs through Philadelphia thanks to Saquon Barkley.

Very real and legitimate journalist. I don't see a loss on the schedule.
