WATCH: South Philly fighter slaps opponent with a cannoli at KnuckleMania weigh-ins

Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center is set to host Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship’s (BKFC) “KnuckleMania V” tonight, marking the first event in the city of Brotherly Love.

With BKFC set to kickoff at the Wells Fargo Center Saturday night, McGregor was in town this week to promote it. During the press conference, he hit a ‘Go Birds’ to get the crowd going.

All of the promotions leading up to tonight’s KnuckleMania event have been great content but nothing really compares to this fighter from South Philly slapping his opponent with a cannoli.

His explanation on why he did it is even better:

“He was giving me a goofy look and I felt that I just gave him a cannoli, I was being nice, welcoming him to South Philly, and he’s still giving me, like, a fucked-up look. So I slapped the cannoli and then I slapped him in the face with the cannoli. I don’t know. That’s why I did it.”

Can’t argue with that. If you’re trying to gift someone a South Philly delicacy like a cannoli and the person on the receiving end is giving you a “fucked up look” then I really don’t know what other options there are besides slapping the person in the face with it.

Either respect the culture or pay the price, right?

Jeremy Stephens calls Philly a second-place city, tells everyone to f–k off in Bare Knuckle Fighting presser with Eddie Alvarez

The main event features former UFC Lightweight Champion and Kensington native Eddie Alvarez facing off against Jeremy Stephens, a seasoned MMA fighter with a 2-0 record in bare-knuckle competition.

Stephens, a veteran of the sport, has secured two consecutive wins in BKFC, defeating Jimmie Rivera by TKO in December 2023 and Bobby Taylor by unanimous decision in September 2024.
