Jalen Hurts’ victory cigar, outfit went crazy viral on social media
In case you’ve been living under a rock or maybe, still partying on Broad Street, Jalen Hurts’ silenced pretty much everyone (with a brain) who doubted him on Sunday as his Philadelphia Eagles punched their tickets to the Super Bowl for the second time in the last three years.
Upon his arrival to The Linc on Sunday, Jalen Hurts was all business. After the game, it was evident that QB1 wasn’t phased by the moment as he stood alone in the locker room, lighting up a cigar as he took the pads off. Hurts looked like he had been there before and obviously, that’s because he has…
“You play the game to win,” Hurts told reporters after the Eagles defeated the Washington Commanders in the NFC championship game, setting up a Super Bowl rematch with the Kansas City Chiefs.
It’s amazing how much doubt there is sometimes. I can’t quite comprehend it,” head coach Nick Sirianni told reporters Sunday, confused about the level of doubt Hurts received leading up to the game. “He’s just continued to win.”
Again, the Eagles went full “Belt to Ass” in South Philly on Sunday and Jalen Hurts was a main part of it. He finished the NFC Championship Game going 20/28 for 246 yards and a touchdown. He added three rushing touchdowns to an Eagles box score that scored seven total on the ground.
Ah. Most importantly, there were zero turnovers from Hurts and company on Sunday, putting a stamp on a dominant, wire-to-wire win against the Commanders.

You have to hold a certain level of swagger to rock that type of outfit and Jalen Hurts delivered with flying colors on the field, while continuing his elite aura in the locker room postgame.
Hurts didn’t just celebrate the Eagles’ win, he straight-up flexed on anyone who has foolishly doubted him over the past few years by lighting up a massive victory cigar, smoking that Commanders pack all alone by his locker.
The photo of Jalen Hurts went viral for obvious reasons:

“Lmao, he looks like he’s pushing 50,” one fan joked. Another added, “He’s dressed like the greatest D-coordinator in Texas 2A football history.”
Even Jason Kelce, his old teammate and Eagles legend turned ESPN analyst, couldn’t resist chiming in:
“This photo is [expletive] legendary,” Kelce commented.
Hurts kept the great vibes by bringing the cigar along for an ESPN appearance later that night. It gave off similar energy to his 2023 celebration, though that time he wore a full lavender suit—jacket and pants to match.
With the injury concerns with Hurt’s knee, it feels good to see my quarterback lighting a victory cigar and celebrating after a dominant performance. He now has two weeks to rest up and lock-in before the rematch against the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX.
