Lets Hope Patrick Mahomes has a horrible week

I want Mahomes losing sleep over this. I want him tossing and turning all week, drenched in sweat, haunted by visions of Luka wearing purple and gold, feeding alley-oops to LeBron James like he never even knew Dallas existed.

Hell, I hope he has full-on night terrors of Anthony Davis’ unibrow chasing him around the court, blocking every one of his shots while Mark Cuban stands on the sideline screaming, “YOU DID THIS!”

I need this trade to completely derail him.

• Let’s hope he’s so disheveled that he can barely even walk onto the field next Sunday in New Orleans against our Philadelphia Eagles.
• Let’s hope he’s so broken by Luka leaving for L.A. that his Super Bowl preparation falls apart.
• Let’s hope that by the time kickoff comes around, he’s still staring at his phone, rereading the trade details for the 1,000th time, unable to comprehend what happened.

If Luka Doncic heading to the Lakers is what finally breaks Mahomes, then this might be the best trade in Philadelphia sports history.
