Jason Kelce clashes with neighbors over plans for fourth home on Pennsylvania property

Jason Kelce built a legacy in the trenches, anchoring the Philadelphia Eagles’ offensive line for over a decade. But in retirement, he has found himself in a different kind of battle — this time, in the county board room.

Kelce and his family, who own a sizable piece of property in Haverford Township, sought to build a new home and make significant upgrades to their land. Among the planned improvements was the addition of a fence to enhance security — a measure he deemed necessary due to his family’s high-profile status. However, not everyone in the neighborhood welcomed the proposed changes with open arms.

Some residents raised concerns about the construction project, arguing that it could lead to increased flooding in surrounding homes. These objections led to a zoning board review, where Kelce made his case for moving forward with the renovations. Ultimately, he received approval to proceed, ensuring his family could build the home and security measures they envisioned.

Kelce emphasized his commitment to remaining in the community despite the controversy, making it clear that his family’s safety was a priority.

“We want to be in this area, we like this area a lot,” Kelce stated, according to NBC affiliate WGAL.
