Eagles officially accept invite to White House as Super Bowl LIX champions
The Philadelphia Eagles have officially accepted an invitation to visit the White House following their victory in Super Bowl LIX. A team spokesperson confirmed the decision to NBC Sports Philadelphia’s John Clark, putting an end to speculation surrounding the visit.
Eagles Set to Visit Washington D.C.
There was initial uncertainty about whether the Birds would attend. A report suggested the team was not planning on making the trip, only for a conflicting report to indicate they were open to the idea if invited. Then, President Donald Trump himself announced that the Eagles would receive an invitation. Now, it’s official — the offer has been extended, and the Birds have accepted.

Details regarding the visit, including the date and logistics, remain unclear. According to Clark, the Eagles are still “working on scheduling.”
This marks a departure from what happened after the Eagles’ Super Bowl LII victory. The team was initially scheduled to visit the White House in June 2018 but was essentially uninvited after planning to send only a small group of representatives instead of the full roster.
This time around, it looks like the entire organization is set to celebrate their championship in Washington, D.C.
