WATCH: Barstool Sports’ Max Dolente puts CBS Sports analyst Pete Prisco in a body bag over Jalen Hurts disrespect

Barstool Sports’ Max Dolente did the Lord’s work this week, absolutely torching CBS analyst Pete Prisco for his unhinged quarterback rankings following the Eagles’ Super Bowl LIX demolition of the Chiefs.

If you missed it, Prisco went on CBS Sports and said he’d take Dak Prescott, CJ Stroud, Baker Mayfield, and Justin Herbert over Jalen Hurts for the next five years.

As if it couldn’t be more delusional, Pete Prisco also called the Jalen Hurts vs. Trevor Lawrence debate “even.” I wrote about it when it happened and urged someone to do a wellness check on Pete Prisco but apparently that didn’t happen.

At first, Prisco held his own. The Nick Sirianni dig? Not bad. But then he completely threw it all away when he doubled down and said he’d take Trevor Lawrence over Hurts.

Anyone with half of a brain knew the coordinator hirings a year prior were the reason the Eagles were a dumpster fire closing out the year and I had full confidence in Kellen Moore and Vic Fangio figuring shit out last season.

Why does Pete Prisco believe that Jalen Hurts is “even” with Trevor Lawrence? That’s a losing argument every time and when Dolente really settled in and took him to the cleaners. Seriously though. Trevor Lawrence dealt with injuries and coaching changes? He hasn’t had enough talent around him?

Last time I checked, you could really make that argument for any NFL quarterback at certain points in their career and Hurts himself has dealt with his fair share of instability too.

Now that I think about it, from head coaching changes to coordinator changes, all while overcoming injuries, Jalen Hurts might have dealt with more than anyone else while also making it to two Super Bowls and winning one of them, taking home MVP in the process.

Imagine watching Jalen Hurts go 18-3, win Super Bowl MVP, and outduel Patrick Mahomes and Chiefs Kingdom on the biggest stage possible, and then sitting down the following week to say you’d rather have C.J. Stroud, Dak Prescott, or Baker Mayfield over him for the next five years.

If your head hasn’t exploded yet, imagine putting Trevor Lawrence on the same level as Hurts. That’s what Pete Prisco is attempted to do and continues to do whenever any media outlet throws him a bone and puts a microphone in front of his face.

The Chiefs sold out to stop Saquon Barkley in the Super Bowl, so Jalen Hurts completed 17 of 22 passes for 221 yards and two touchdowns, added 72 rushing yards and a Tush Push TD, and delivered one absolute beauty of a deep ball DAGGER to DeVonta Smith en route to taking home MVP and a Lombardi Trophy.

Listen, I’ve been hard on Max in the past but he is a follower of The Liberty Line and outside of the Phillies overalls (lol), he’s a good egg and a strong Philly presence at Barstool Sports.
