AJ Brown

AJ Brown silences the critics and proves he’s the exact leader the Eagles need for another Super Bowl run

I can’t believe I even have to say this, but AJ Brown isn’t going anywhere and I really don’t care how many different fake trade rumors from the faceless content aggregator-accounts on social media tell you otherwise. This man is built for the Philadelphia Eagles and if you doubt that, then you’re what people call a “casual” and doing nothing more than begging for attention.

Like clockwork, the NFL offseason hits and here comes a baseless AJ Brown trade rumor that the internet eats up. I rarely have faith in social media and could go on for hours about how it’s completely ruined the already peanut-sized brains of the general population. Mix in a former dynasty that’s on the brink of irrelevancy and we get ridiculous headlines about AJ Brown being traded to the New England Patriots.

Give It Up: Patriots media, fans still believe AJ Brown will end up in New England >>

If we really stop and think about it, AJ Brown has been a main point of criticism for this football team and at points throughout the years, fans and even our own local sports media have claimed he’s too emotional, too selfish, and a “locker room cancer” for the Eagles.

Obviously, none of that is true. AJ Brown is just a competitor that wants to win football games like everyone else- including the Eagles and the Philly fanbase. To achieve that goal, Brown needs the football in his hands, obviously. Does that make him selfish? Of course not. In fact, it makes AJ Brown the ultimate team guy.

There’s a laundry list of players that just cash their paychecks and mail it in every Sunday. Brown has never been one of them and the proof is in the numbers. It’s like people fail to realize that over the past three years with the Eagles, Brown has had 261 catches for 4,031 yards and has scored 25 touchdowns in 47 games for the Eagles in his career.

The best part about it is that AJ Brown is still locked in on reaching new heights in 2025.

AJ Brown is LOCKED IN

First, we got a video straight from Brown himself—dude’s out here doing pool workouts, looking like an absolute machine. Peaceful vibes, locked-in mindset. While some players are out partying or stirring up drama, AJ Brown is getting better. That’s the kind of energy you need from a leader when you’re trying to get back to the Super Bowl.

While I’m at it, I was really in my sports journalism bag this morning as I scooped up another video proving he’s a great teammate and an elite leader. Straight from Nolan Smith’s mouth here, which means a lot considering the young edge rusher is looking up to guys like A.J. to really get comfortable and adjust to the NFL level.

The idea that AJ Brown isn’t a leader is one of the dumbest narratives out there.

Case in point: Nolan Smith, one of the young studs on this team, has gone out of his way to praise A.J. for the advice, mentorship, and energy he brings to the locker room.

You think a guy like Smith—who played for Georgia and knows what championship DNA looks like—is gonna hype up some fraud? Hell no.

He’s built for this city

Say what you want, but Brown has done nothing but prove he’s an elite player AND a leader since he got to Philly. He’s vocal, he backs it up on the field, and he wants to win. He’s the exact type of dude you need in your locker room when you’re chasing another Lombardi.

So, to the trade rumor weirdos—go touch some grass. AJ Brown is here to stay, and he’s about to remind everyone why he’s one of the best in the league.
