With the NFL Draft just a few weeks away, the Philadelphia Eagles are knee deep in their pre-draft visits.

The Eagles have hosted four offensive lineman on visits thus far:

  • Oregon OT Josh Conerly Jr. (via James Crepea)

  • Iowa State OT Jalen Travis (via Zach Berman)

Let’s dive into each prospect’s scouting report.

Josh Conerly Jr., OT, Oregon

The Eagles hosted Oregon left tackle Josh Conerly Jr., one of the premier offensive line prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft. A former five-star recruit and Anthony Muñoz Award winner, Conerly transitioned from running back to offensive line in high school, showcasing rare athleticism for the position.

After a limited but promising freshman year, he claimed Oregon’s starting left tackle job in 2023, allowing just one sack over 540 pass-blocking snaps. He followed with a dominant 2024 campaign, earning First-Team All-American honors while anchoring an undefeated regular-season line and surrendering only nine total pressures. At 6’4″, 315 pounds, Conerly offers high-end pass protection with improving run-blocking skills, making him a potential long-term answer at left tackle.

Marcus Mbow, OL, Purdue

Purdue offensive lineman Marcus Mbow is a versatile and athletic prospect with extensive experience at multiple positions. Originally committed to Arizona State, Mbow pivoted late to Purdue, where his multi-sport background and basketball-honed footwork translated well to the trenches.

At 6’4″, 300 pounds, Mbow started at right guard in 2022, earning Honorable Mention All-Big Ten honors while helping Purdue lead the conference in passing. He later shifted to right tackle in 2023 before a leg injury shortened his season. He bounced back in 2024 as a key contributor to a dominant Boilermaker rushing attack. Mbow’s ability to play both guard and tackle, combined with his athletic traits, make him a valuable, scheme-versatile target for NFL offensive lines.

Anthony Belton, OT, NC State

The Eagles brought in NC State left tackle Anthony Belton for a pre-draft visit, eyeing a physically imposing and battle-tested prospect. Originally unranked out of high school, Belton developed at Georgia Military College into one of the top JUCO tackles before transferring to NC State in 2021.

He stepped in for first-round pick Ickey Ekwonu in 2022 and started eight games, quickly showing promise with an 81.2 pass-blocking grade. By 2023, he was a full-time starter, racking up 51 pancake blocks and earning third-team All-ACC honors. Belton capped off his career with 741 snaps and an 87.2 pass-blocking grade in 2024. At 6’6″, 345 pounds, the aptly nicknamed “Escalade” brings size, power, and three years of starting experience in a zone-based scheme—traits that could fit well in Philadelphia’s offensive line pipeline.

Jalen Travis, OT, Iowa State

Iowa State offensive tackle Jalen Travis is a long, athletic prospect with a unique blend of Ivy League polish and Big 12 experience. The 6’7″, 315-pound Minnesota native began his career at Princeton, where he earned Second Team All-Ivy League honors in both 2022 and 2023 while starting at both tackle spots.

Travis transferred to Iowa State for his final season, bringing leadership and versatility to the Cyclones’ offensive line. Off the field, he’s equally impressive—founding a nonprofit focused on youth advocacy and earning the 2024 Coach Wooden Citizenship Cup. With proven ability on both edges and strong character, Travis is a developmental tackle prospect with upside and intangibles NFL teams value.

Eagles clearly prioritizing offensive line

As they do almost every year, the Eagles are going to add an offensive lineman or two in this year’s NFL Draft. That’s pretty much a given with Howie Roseman and Co. With Lane Johnson entering the final stretch of his career and uncertainty surrounding right guard, I wouldn’t be shocked if the Eagles take multiple lineman this year.

Expect to see some defensive line pre-draft visits as well, along with tight end or safety.
