Fanatics simply cannot get out of its own way when it comes to doing anything right for Major League Baseball.

In our latest example of organizational malpractice, check out the following social media advertisement for Minnesota Twins 2025 Opening Day and let me know what you notice. Here’s a hint, there are multiple things that are incorrect in the image below.

Camden Yards Baseball Field.
Donald Trump (47) Name Plate.

I know it’s hard to believe, but the Minnesota Twins do not always wear the hats of their division rivals while playing in Baltimore.

Honestly, the most realistic part of the ad is thinking that the No. 47 has something to do with Donald Trump since Minnesota turned as red as the text in the Twins logo but then again, when you realize the ball park is actually located in the liberal hell hole that is Maryland, that falls apart too.

Look I get it, most of this is photoshop work and probably a little AI in the mix too.

I highly doubt the two people in the picture ever wore a baseball jersey and certainly don’t expect Fanatics to be parading around to every MLB stadium for some social media photo ops but when you’re a company that is constantly getting trashed for your “cheap” quality of sports products, maybe you want to take an extra step in quality checking with the social team is going before going live with it.

Fanatics continuously butchers Major League Baseball

Remember last year when Fanatics rolled out their new MLB uniforms? Throughout 2024 Spring Training, players and MLB fans alike expressed how awful the new uniforms were, citing they were cheap, the name plates were extra small, and the pants in some cases, were completely see through – all of which turned out to be true.
