It’s the right call. The Tush Push isn’t just a football play — it’s a clinic in execution. The Eagles mastered it with brute strength, perfect timing, and one of the best offensive lines in football. And instead of crying foul, the rest of the league should’ve been taking notes.
Fortunately, common sense prevailed.
There was never a legitimate reason to ban the Tush Push. The play is completely legal under current rules, and the data doesn’t back up the claim that it’s more dangerous than any other play in the trenches. If anything, it’s safer than a lot of alternatives — no blindside hits, no exposed throws, no chaos. Just power football.
Football rewards teams that innovate and execute. That’s what the Eagles did — and now they get to keep doing it.
If you don’t like it, stop it.
