Ja Morant Finger Guns Celly

Ja Morant issued a warning by the NBA for the FingerGuns Celly so naturally, he did it again 2 nights later

You just can’t make this stuff up. Two days after Ja Morant got hit with an official warning from the NBA for pulling out the finger guns during a game against the Warriors, he stepped back on the court and said: “You know what? Let’s run that back one more time.”

And he did. Same celebration. Same complete disregard for whatever memo Adam Silver’s office sent his way. Just incredible.

Ja Morant Can’t Help Himself, Busts Out The Finger Gun Celly vs Warriors

Now, if you’re thinking, “Surely he didn’t do it again immediately after being warned…” — oh buddy, that’s exactly what he did. Right in front of the league office’s metaphorical front porch. Not only did he break out the celebration again, he basically looked right into the camera while doing it and whispered, “Try me.”

Ja Morant back at it with the celly 2 nights later…lol

Say what you want about Ja Morant, but the man does not care about your warning letters and honestly, I completely agree with him. Adam Silver and the NBA handing out “warnings” after an “investigation” on the incident that they were “looking into” is complete nonsense.

Ja pointed his fingers after a bucket, and because of his ahem colorful history, it became a Thing. The Warriors tattled. The league blinked. A warning was issued. And Ja, being Ja, treated that warning the way a raccoon treats a ‘Do Not Enter’ sign on a trash can.

The league’s “discipline” was a warning.

No fine. No suspension. Just a sternly worded paragraph and maybe an emoji-laced text from Adam Silver. That’s like grounding a kid and then letting them keep their Xbox. What did you think was going to happen?

Of course he did it again. He probably had it circled on his calendar.

I mean, you can’t call the man unpredictable. If anything, this was the most Ja Morant thing possible. He’s not out here apologizing or ducking the spotlight. He wants the smoke. He’s handing out coupons for it.

Ja Morant is a big gun guy…

So now what? Does the league double down and drop a fine? Suspend him for defying the Office of Vibes and Warnings? Or do they just accept that trying to police Ja Morant’s completely pointless?

First you suspend him for actually having guns. Now you’re mad he’s using his hands and fingers? Not sure that’s delivering the right message. Maybe Ja Morant doing this will keep him out of trouble when he’s not playing basketball. Did Adam Silver think of that? Probably not.

Personally, I wish those were real guns because any time I write or watch NBA basketball it reminds me of the Philadelphia 76ers and what’s happening with Joel Embiid. I truly wish someone would just end my pain and misery and I highly doubt that finger guns are strong enough to do the trick.

Disgusting Behavior: Joel Embiid, Sixers had tension over knee injury, organization basically told him to ‘walk it off’

Either way, the finger guns are officially back. Not because the NBA likes it, but because Ja Morant does. And in Memphis, that’s all that matters.
