Poor Max. Of all the people at Barstool Sports to fall victim to such a brutal April Fools’ prank, it had to be Max Dolente. A diehard Philadelphia sports fan, Max serves as the producer for Pardon My Take during their shows. As the Eagles superfan that he is, he even got to step into the Birds’ locker room for a brief moment after their Super Bowl win—courtesy of none other than Big Dom.

For some context, the prank started with a conversation about the tush push—fittingly enough—when Big Cat and company kicked off their April Fools’ joke on Max during their latest podcast recording. From there, all hell broke loose. And honestly, I have no idea how Max actually fell for it.

To refresh your memories a little bit, it wasn’t clear if the Birds would actually make the trip to The White House. One report claimed they had no plans to go, while another contradicted it, saying they’d consider attending if invited. Then, President Donald Trump confirmed the team would be getting an invite. Now, it’s official—the invitation is out, and the Eagles are in.

Regardless I’m glad to see Max was more than willing to go to the White House with our Super Bowl Champion Eagles and actually appreciate the opportunity in front of him.
