If you’re wondering what the Eagles draft day plan is, Daniel Jeremiah may have just inadvertently leaked it.

On a recent appearance on The Mina Kimes Show, Jeremiah recapped a conversation he had with “one of the better GMs in the league” regarding LSU tight end Mason Taylor.

There’s no way to confirm that Daniel Jeremiah was talking about Howie Roseman here — but it’s worth pointing out that he worked under Roseman in Philadelphia’s scouting department and has stayed close with the organization ever since. And with Dallas Goedert’s future up in the air, it wouldn’t be surprising if Howie targets a tight end in this year’s draft.

Let’s not forget how smart Howie is, either. Even if Jeremiah was talking to the Eagles GM, it could’ve just been a classic smoke screen. Roseman keeps everything close to the vest, especially around draft time.

With the draft just days away, we’ll find out soon enough if that conversation was with Howie.
