Eagles draft another playmaker to add to their talented defensive line in Ty Robinson

Another Eagles draft, another interior defensive lineman selected by Howie Roseman. With their fourth-round pick, the Birds selected Nebraska’s defensive tackle Ty Robinson, a sixth-year senior who enjoyed his best statistical season in 2024.

Eagles get themselves an athletic lineman in Robinson

At six-foot-five, nearly 300 pounds, Robinson brings superior athleticism to the interior line. Last season, he had a 79.5 PFF pass-rush grade and did not miss a game from his sophomore season onwards, tying a Nebraska record for most career games with 60. That kind of durability and ferocious pass-rush technique should allow him to compete early for a rotational spot on the Eagles’ defensive line with Milton Williams’ departure.

At Nebraska, players vote on who gets to wear the coveted single-digit numbers, and Ty Robinson got the approval to wear number nine.  He has leadership qualities, and the tape proves that Ty Robinson is an absolute dawg in the trenches.
