Phillies fans called on a higher power to fuel a comeback win over Pittsburgh
Phillies fans will use any sort of ju-ju they can get their hands on to power their team towards a victory. On Friday night at The Bank, fans called on our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to fuel a comeback win over the Pirates.
After a fan held up a cross directed toward the field of play, Philly went on attack mode. In the bottom of the 7th with bases loaded and down 3-2, the Fiightin’s finished the inning up 5-3.
The power of Christ compelled to Phillies towards victory
The Phils went on to win 8-4 and take game one of this Pirates series.
Bryce Harper notched is 1,000th RBI and the Phils improved to 26-18 on the season.
