Report: Bryce Huff not expected to be with Eagles in 2025

Eagles edge-rusher Bryce Huff’s notable absence from the team’s voluntary offseason program may be a sign of things to come.

According to a report from Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer, Huff has not participated in any team workouts this spring and is ‘unlikely to be part of the Eagles’ plans for 2025.’

Although these sessions are voluntary, McLane indicates that Huff’s participation status could be tied to a mutual agreement between the player and the organization.

Huff is set to earn $16.75 million in guaranteed money for the 2025 season. If the team were to trade him after June 1, the move could offer significant salary cap relief.

Preserving Huff’s health may be part of the team’s strategy as they head into the summer.

Huff signed a three-year, $51.1 million deal last offseason, but his impact was limited as he recorded just 2.5 sacks before getting injured.

He was a healthy scratch for Philadelphia’s Super Bowl LIX victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.
