Caitlin Clark steals the spotlight courtside as Pacers clinch first NBA Finals berth since 2000
The Pacers are heading back to the NBA Finals for the first time in 25 years — and Caitlin Clark made sure to steal a little of the spotlight along the way.
Indiana defeated the New York Knicks 125-108 Saturday night in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, closing out the series and punching their first ticket to the NBA Finals since 2000 — when they also knocked out the Knicks in six games.
And while Pascal Siakam and Tyrese Haliburton were dominating on the floor, Clark — currently sidelined for the Fever with a quad injury — was having her own moment courtside.
Sitting front row with Fever teammates Lexie Hull and Aliyah Boston, Clark celebrated one of Haliburton’s threes by mimicking Jalen Brunson’s signature three-point celebration — a moment that quickly went viral. With the Pacers rolling early, Clark’s playful troll of Brunson was the perfect vibe check for a rocking Indiana crowd.
Brunson’s celebration has been his go-to since 2023, but on this night, it was Clark having fun with it as the Pacers buried New York’s hopes.

As for the game itself — pure domination from Indiana.
Pascal Siakam poured in 31 points, becoming the first player in franchise history with at least 30 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 blocks in a series-clinching win. Tyrese Haliburton was spectacular, finishing with 21 points and 13 assists.
Indiana attacked New York’s weaknesses relentlessly, torching the Knicks 41-10 in transition points and 34-13 off turnovers, per ESPN.
The Pacers had seven players score in double figures, putting the game out of reach by the second half.
For the Knicks, OG Anunoby led the way with 24 points, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Indiana’s relentless pace and depth.
Now, the Pacers are off to the NBA Finals, where they’ll face NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder. Game 1 tips off Thursday night at 8:30 p.m. on ABC.
And something tells me we’ll see Caitlin Clark right back courtside — ready with another celebration — when the Finals come to Indy.
