Jalen Hurts surprised PA Girls Flag Football champions after victory
Eagles quarterback and pillar of the community Jalen Hurts made a surprise appearance at the PA Girls Flag Football championship game. He met with the state champions of Gwynedd Mercy High School after the game and, of course, they were thrilled to meet the Super Bowl champion in person.
Jalen Hurts proved yet again that he’s a man of the people:

I thank god every day that Jalen is the quarterback of my favorite football team. He plays the game the right way, is beloved by his teammates and fans alike, and goes out of his way to support the community, especially women and girls in sports. It’s rare to see.
Plus it’s not like he was posting about it on his social media trying to clout chase either.. Of course word is going to get out that the most famous man in Philadelphia is at any event, and obviously the girls at the event are going to want a picture with the Super Bowl champ.
Winning a championship in your chosen sport is obviously incredibly validating at any level, but to have a Super Bowl winner show up and give support is another level of validation to keep doing what you’re doing.
There are currently 72 schools competing in Girls Flag Football. The sport is growing quickly, and Jalen Hurts lending his platform to help grow the game is a great gesture from a great football player.
