Dodgers deny ICE entrance to stadium parking lot, agency offers bizarre rebuttal
The Los Angeles Dodgers released a statement claiming that the organization denied ICE agents access to the stadium parking lot. Video footage corroborates the claim, at least on the surface, but it’s a bizarre story to begin with.
The kicker? ICE tweeted that the Dodgers’ statement was false and they “were never there”:
This morning, ICE agents came to Dodger Stadium and requested permission to access the parking lots. They were denied entry to the grounds by the organization. Tonight’s game will be played as scheduled.

False. We were never there. https://t.co/ZquYiW0miQ

I mean what an absolute trip. There are two ways this could have gone down.
First, the Dodgers are telling the truth and ICE was so incredibly embarrassed their social media admin lied on Twitter. Stranger things have happened.
The second and most intriguing possibility is that ICE is telling the truth. I highly doubt that is the case, but that would open a ridiculous can of worms and lead to more questions that answers.
Say ICE is in the right here, then who the hell was at the gates of Dodger Stadium trying to get in? Claiming to be federal agents, no less?
Could be the cartel? The illuminati? ANTIFA crisis actors? I have no idea, but god dammit that would be an interesting yarn to unravel.
And, honestly, the Dodgers are pretty suspect in my eyes to begin with. They lied to the American public claiming that Shohei Ohtani isn’t a degenerate gambler. That alone is grounds for suspicion.
Now, please don’t twist my words into me being pro-ICE. These fly-by-night raids are barbaric and ridiculous. It’s also not the worst thing in the world to wish that the story is untrue. It makes our country look terrible no matter how you look at.
In the end, I’m simply saying them not being the ones attempting to access Dodger Stadium would make for a far more interesting investigative story. In fact, it’s one I’d love to write.
At time of publishing, it does look like my grand theory isn’t going to come to fruition. It really just look like ICE’s social admin jumped the gun and doubled down.
