Astronomer CEO and HR chief’s alleged affair exposed by Coldplay Kiss Cam
This one is a doozy. A couple was shown on the Kiss Cam at a recent Coldplay concert and viewers quickly deduced the pair was having an affair. However, it wasn’t just any silver-haired duo in the crowd, it was Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and his Chief People Officer Kristin Cabot hiding their faces in shame.
Coldplay’s Kiss Cam caught the Astronomer CEO and his HR chief looking obscenely guilty:

The pair was seen rushing to cover their faces in horror when they realized they were on the big screen.

Andyyyyyy. You’ve got some ‘splainin’ to dooooo.
I mean, this is an absolutely brutal look. You’re the CEO of a company and you’re shtupping the head of HR? That’s a code of conduct violation if there ever was one.
A large swathe of the general public were very disappointed by this display. However, the infidelity was at the bottom of a lot of people’s list of problems with it.
Some were dismayed by the fact that a loaded CEO didn’t have some 20-year-old intern on his arm instead. Which, personally, I disagree with.
First of all, good luck getting a hot 20-year-old to a Coldplay concert. Second of all, yuck. If he’s happy cheating on his wife with a woman his own age, I say all power to him.
Another sticking point for a lot of people was how quickly they reacted and made a massive scene. This clip would not be making the rounds if they didn’t act like they got caught with their hand in the cookie jar.
I do have to agree with the people on that front. Sure, there’s a chance that clip circulates anyway and their spouses find out, but it wouldn’t be the number one trending topic on social media if they just played it cool.
That’s not to condone infidelity, but as a veteran of the performing arts, I just want to see commitment to the role. Is that too much to ask?
