Phans of Philly does it again, takes over the Bronx as the Phillies continue to dominate the Yankees

The Phillies have been wreaking havoc on the New York Yankees this weekend. They have outscored the Yanks 21-9 over the first two games of the series and now hand the ball over to Zack Wheeler on Sunday for the finale, and ideally, a series sweep.

One thing that has been extremely evident is how many Phillies fans have been in the Bronx this weekend and naturally, that has to be attributed to none other than Phans of Philly organizing yet another incredible trip for Phillies fans on Friday night.

On Friday night, the Phillies beat up on the Yankees, 12-5. Kyle Schwarber went yard TWICE and JT Realmuto continued his dominance, smashing a go-ahead, 3-run home run to give The Fightins a 6-3 lead in the top of the seventh inning.

JT Realmuto is on FIRE right now

Listen to that crowd. Does this sound like your typical Yankees game in the Bronx? Of course it doesn’t. That’s because Phans of Philly made sure that there would be a full takeover of Yankee Stadium on Friday night and had six busses jam-packed with Phillies fans in attendance.

Even Yankees fans were completely bamboozled by the Philadelphia presence in the Bronx on Friday night. Honestly, I’m not a big E-A-G-L-E-S chant guy at other sporting events but I certainly don’t mind it when you’re in enemy territory. That chant was just a solid reminder that Philly was in the building and thankfully, The Fightins were too.

Yankees fans were perplexed…lol

We went on the Phillies Bus Trip to the Bronx with Phans of Philly last year and it was absolutely incredible. Obviously, we’re regulars on the Phans trips during Eagles season. We’ve traveled to Arizona, Kansas City, New Orleans, Tampa, and Los Angeles twice over the past three years and trust me when I tell you, it’s the easiest way to catch any and all Philly sports teams on the round with hundreds, if not thousands, of likeminded fans there with you.

The Phillies have now outscored the Yankees 21-9 over the first two games of the series. On Saturday afternoon, the offensive explosion continued. JT Realmuto got the The Fightins on the board first before Bryce Harper absolutely destroyed a baseball to deep right center to put them up 2-0 early.

Bryce Harper with a BOMB

Bryce Harper absolutely destroyed a home run deep into the seats at Yankee Stadium. He went 2-for-3 with two walks and two RBI. Harp’s OPS is now overing around the .950 mark again, which is a great sign for the Phillies post All-Star break.

This isn’t an ad post, btw.

Point being, when we write about Phans of Philly it’s because we have traveled with them. We have witnessed what they do for Philly sports fans and have experienced the first-class service they provide on countless numbers of occasions.

No one does it better. Get a trip booked with flexible payment plans. We’ll see you on the road this fall and will have travel plans for every week that the Eagles are on the road.

Cheers.

Up Next for the Phillies

Zack Wheeler (9-3, 2.39 ERA) gets the ball Sunday against Carlos Rodón (10-7, 3.10 ERA) for the series finale in the Bronx. The Phillies have a chance to sweep the Yankees and send them fully into tabloid-fueled implosion mode before the deadline.
