WATCH: Saquon Barkley calls Barstool hater an idiot on latest Pardon My Take

Saquon Barkley and the 2024 Philadelphia Eagles made a lot of people look stupid last season. But, you could argue, no one more than Steven Cheah of Barstool Sports.

If you’re not heavily involved in the sports media space, I’d still be surprised if you didn’t see his abomination of a podcast clip and tweet centered around Saquon heading into last season.

Talk about freezing cold takes exposed. Good lord, I’m not sure I’ve seen a hot take like this age like milk. Because, that’s exactly what happened here. In the span of a few short months, Steven Cheah looked like the biggest idiot on earth.

Speaking of idiot, that’s exactly what Saquon Barkley referred Cheah to as he hopped on the latest episode of Pardon My Take

For what it’s worth, Steven Cheah did own up to this disaster of a take towards the end of the year. But, that’s the very least he could have done. Honestly, since this was nothing but slander sent Saquon’s way, the NFL rushing champ should determine the punishment he faces.

I mean Saquon shat all over Steven Cheah, let’s be honest. He surpassed that 1,005 yard mark, 10 games into the season. It was arguably the single most impressive season by a running back in NFL history.

History…

He didn’t just break the all-time mark for most combined rushing yards in a season — including the playoffs — he left Terrell Davis in the dust. We’re talking a jaw-dropping 2,504 rushing yards and an even more absurd 2,857 total yards from scrimmage. The most ever in the history of the NFL. Period.
