Phillies Fans Beach Balls

Is it acceptable for Phillies fans to be playing with beach balls in the stands when the game is tied 3-3 in the top of the sixth inning?

That is the question that we will answer in this post. To be clear, it’s obviously not acceptable, really under any circumstances, for Phillies fans to be playing with beach balls in the stands at any point during a baseball game at Citizens Bank Park.

Fun? What’s fun about this? Honestly, that beach ball should have been popped well before it was confiscated.  This isn’t Disney Land or your local park. It’s a Philadelphia Phillies game that was tied 3-3 in the top of the sixth inning.

Save the beach balls for Clearwater during meaningless Spring Training games. This is August baseball. Maybe get these kids a scorebook and have them pay attention to the game and the current NL East standings.

At the time, the Phillies were hanging on to a half-game lead over the New York Mets in the NL East. It’s the top of the sixth inning and again, the game is tied 3-3.

Don’t these kids have parents? As for the adults who participated, I’m not fully against confiscating their tickets and banning them for the rest of the season.

We’re in the Dog Days gearing up for the final stretch of a grueling MLB season and Phillies fans want to bring their little kids to the ballpark to play with beach balls?

No fucking chance. If your kids want to playing with a beachball, then go the fuck home or you know, down the shore where that type of activity is appropriate.

And don’t even start talking shit in the comments. I literally do not care. You’re probably the same ones shedding a few tears for Jose Alvarado’s sympathy message that he posted today begging for forgiveness after he royally fucked this team for the past three months.

Everyone is way too soft. That type of mentality has failed us over the past three seasons in October and I’ll be damned if I stand idle while it happens again.

Just look what happened after this guy put an end to the shenanigans happening in his section. Harrison Bader launched a NUKE to put The Fightins up 6-3.

That homer officially opened the flood gates. The Phillies dog walked the Orioles last night 13-3. Beach balls? In the stands? During a division and pennant race?

I feel like I’m going crazy right now. Does anyone in this city want to win a World Series anymore or is Citizens Bank Park just a meaningless social night? You tell me. Please. I’m all ears.
