Eagles legend Boston Scott works out with the Baltimore Ravens, reportedly in ‘terrific’ shape

Boston Scott, the man, the myth, the Giant Killer, might be back in the NFL, but this time, it could be in purple and black.

According to Jordan Schultz, the Baltimore Ravens hosted Scott for a workout over the weekend. With Keaton Mitchell and Rasheen Ali both dealing with undisclosed injuries and Marcus Major in concussion protocol, Baltimore is clearly looking to add some backfield depth before the season starts.

The Ravens worked out Boston Scott over the weekend…

For six seasons in Philly, Scott was the ultimate change-of-pace back and kick return option, rushing for 1,295 yards and 16 touchdowns on 302 carries. His numbers won’t get him in Canton, but Eagles fans know the deal.

Scott didn’t play at all in 2024, but every Eagles fan remembers exactly what he brought to the table. You never measured Boston Scott by the box score. You measured him by how many nightmares he gave the New York Giants.

From clutch postseason scores to random December games where he’d suddenly morph into Barry Sanders against New York, Scott carved out a permanent place in Philly sports lore.

The Ravens love guys who can step in, play multiple roles, and deliver when it matters and Boston Scott has built an entire career on doing exactly that, so we wish him the best of luck in securing a roster spot.
