WATCH: Nick Foles reveals the full name of the Philly Special play call

Finally. After all these years, we know the official name of the Philly Special. Now, obviously it’s complete football speech and terminology. Not something that you plaster all over a t-shirt.

But, who knows. Maybe we will do just that here at TheLibertyLine. And while the Philadelphia Eagles historical first Super Bowl win was eight years ago, and we’ve since been to two more and even won one most recently, Nick Foles and the Philly Special never get old.

It’s a memory that will last forever here in Philadelphia. So much so, we have a statue dedicated to it.

Anyways, here’s Nick Foles revealing the full name of the historic play

Talk about a mouthful. “Float to pistol target left bunch, Philly Special, on the dummy kill.”

Certainly not something the casual fan would understand, but if you played high school football or beyond, you have an idea what that means.

Nonetheless, super pumped Nick Foles shared that for his fact of the day and we can all only hope that Big Dick Nick continues to hit us with more facts of the day.

Perhaps we can get more intel on his relationship or interactions with Tom Brady. Since you know, he’s a media professional now. He has nothing but time to explain why he didn’t shake Nick Foles hand.
