Here’s the truth about Cam Newton and why his obsession with Nick Foles and Jalen Hurts is complete nonsense

I was really going to write a post about how Stephen A. Smith forced Cam Newton to bend the knee when talking about Jalen Hurts.

I was going to add in that Cam Newton got bitched around by Gillie The Kid and had no other choice to apologize after the internet turned on him.

Instead, I’m just going to tell it how it is. Cam Newton is a loser. Why anyone would want to have a “debate” over Jalen Hurts is beyond me, let alone when it’s after Hurts just won a Super Bowl and MVP honors in the process.

I literally have zero clue how this topic even comes up or where this narrative even started. My only guess is that ESPN and all of their talking heads realize that it’s the only way to drive engagement these days.

I really don’t understand why people try to use Nick Foles as justification that Super Bowl’s aren’t important. Nick Foles touched God on that fateful night in Minnesota.

He had an incredible game and an even better game in the NFC Championship game to lead the Eagles, against all odds, in taking down Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.

Why the FUCK would anyone listen to Cam Newtown pretend that Nick Foles didn’t go on one of the best runs not only in the history of Philadelphia sports, but professional sports in general?

Knocking Nick Foles for doing what very few have by winning a Super Bowl isn’t some type of flex, it’s one of the dumbest things I’ve heard, over and over again, from talking heads and former players like Cam Newton, who never accomplished the same feat. 

Cam Newton’s legacy is a pathetic image of him recoiling from a fumble after Von Miller knocked the ball out of his hands with four minutes left in the game and the Carolina Panthers trailing the Denver Broncos 16-10. 

Cam Newton froze in the worst possible moment and from there, sulked and cried his way to the locker rooms, only to sit dejected at his postgame presser before cutting it off early and hitting the showers. He took zero accountability, left his team out to dry, and embarrassed himself in every aspect of the game. 

He has never dealt with losing and anytime he was presented with a challenge on or off the field, he folded like a deck of cards. Why would anyone listen to a word he says about anything? 

Look at him in the video above. What a pathetic fall from grace from a once respected NFL quarterback. He’s an embarrassment to the media and the game of football itself. 

I Repeat: Nothing Cam Newton says should matter.

He’s a “hot take” machine and spews bullshit with the sole purpose of making people upset and cause unneeded debates on social media. I have no idea how he can even look at himself in the mirror.
