Flyers National Spotlight: 14 Games on TNT, ESPN, ABC in 2025-26

The NHL is betting big on the Flyers this season. In Rick Tocchet’s first year behind the bench, Philadelphia will play 14 games on national TV, putting them in front of a wider audience than they’ve had in years.

Five games will air on TNT, four on ESPN, two on ABC, and three will stream exclusively on ESPN+/Hulu. The highlight is definitely a December 23rd showdown against Connor Bedard and the Chicago Blackhawks, giving fans a marquee matchup of two of the brightest young stars in the game when Matvei Michkov takes the ice opposite Bedard.

Matvei Michkov ranked 23rd among players born this century but the numbers say otherwise

The Flyers open the 2025-26 season October 9th on the road against the defending champion Florida Panthers. The full NBC Sports Philadelphia local broadcast schedule will be released later, but here are the confirmed national dates.

Flyers drop 2025-26 Schedule: Tough start, no Black Friday home game and must-watch matchups

After years of being an afterthought, the Flyers are suddenly a national TV fixture. The league clearly sees Michkov as must-watch, and with Tocchet trying to push the Flyers back into contention, Philadelphia is set to spend plenty of time in the spotlight.
