NDSU Football Player Boat Heist

NDSU football player pulls off jewelry and designer clothes boat heist of July 4th, tells victims not worry about it because his parents will write a check for whatever was stolen

You ever read a story that makes you stop and go, “Wait, what the hell was this guy thinking?” Because that’s exactly where I’m at with William Frattalone, the now-former North Dakota State (NDSU) defensive back who decided the best way to spend his Fourth of July was to jack a $228,000 Rolex and $25,000 worth of designer clothes off someone else’s boat in Minnesota.

The haul was over $270,000. The excuse was arguably worse. When confronted, Frattalone allegedly shrugged and said not to worry because his parents “write a check for whatever was inside the bag.”

I mean come on, brother… have some dignity

While that may be true, I pray to god mommy and daddy don’t bail out William Frattalone. Clearly, the ex-NDSU football player is a lost little puppy dog and has a major accountability problem.

Look at the mugshot…lol. What a fucking asshole. Why is William Frattalone so upset? You got caught red handed brother. Cheer up. Time to pay the price.

Anyways, his behavior probably stems directly from his parents spoiling him his entire life, but it’s clear that he believes there are absolutely zero consequences for his own actions.

Not to mention, this happened on July 4th. We’re talking about America’s birthday here and this guy turned his night into Grand Theft Auto by jacking a bunch of expensive shit from someone else’s boat. Way to disgrace this country, scumbag.

Here’s what happened with our NDSU football player:

  • Victim left his bag in a locked cabin on his friend’s boat while dining at Maynards, a bayside spot in Excelsior.
  • Bag disappears. Suddenly Frattalone’s carrying it around, trying to get into the restaurant before staff stop him because of the no-bag policy.
  • He insists he’s just taking it to his car, dips, and vanishes.
  • Police later find the missing bag and clothes at his house, plus a video on his phone of him creeping around the dock like some discount James Bond.
  • The Rolex is still missing.

That last bullet point is telling. This kid still has that Rolex hidden away somewhere or he already got rid of it for a handsome payday.

That tells you everything you need to know.

At some point this kid convinced himself he’s untouchable. Too rich, too white, is my guess. While that’s two sick qualities to have, it’s clearly damaged the brain of William Frattalone.

This is the kind of guy who thinks consequences are for other people and hides behind his family’s wealth when push comes to shove.

Look, in the hierarchy of football players doing dumb shit, stealing some luxury bags is low on the scale. Nobody died. It’s still mind-blowingly stupid. You’re 20 years old, on a D1 NDSU team, and instead of lifting weights and eating chicken breast, you’re stealing Rolexes like you’re auditioning for Ocean’s Eleven.

The ending here feels inevitable. He’s kicked off the team, obviously. Will he care? Doubt it. This isn’t jail time yet, but give it a couple years and dudes like this usually write their own sequel, which never end with “happily ever after.”
