Engagement Farming: Colin Cowherd once again tries to convince Eagles fans that AJ Brown wants out

Colin Cowherd is once again pushing the ‘AJ Brown wants out of Philly’ agenda.

Coming off a one-catch outing in Week 1, the rage baiting engagement was there for the taking. Gotta give Cowherd that — when he sees an opportunity, he takes it.

To be clear, anyone who pushes this narrative doesn’t have any evidence. They just ‘have a feeing’ he’ll want out. Makes sense coming from someone who doesn’t actually follow the team. But for any fan, you know damn well Brown is locked in and ready to win again in Philadelphia.

It’s funny that Cowherd decided to use the clip from AJ at his locker instead of this one from an interview with Jordan Schultz:

#Eagles WR AJ Brown tells me he has seen all the crazy tweets and overreactions about his 1-catch game in Week 1:

“None of those things are true. I got zoned the entire game. … Just know I’m excited for Week 2.” pic.twitter.com/2kDvl11CRT

That sounds like a hungry dawg to me — not someone who’s itching to get out of town.

I would get into how Cowherd always does this kind of stuff, specifically towards Philly, to drive engagement. But I think that’s pretty obvious to anyone reading this, so I’ll spare you. AJ 100+ yards and a touchdown on Sunday, book it.
