Ryan Clark’s Hot Take: Packers superior to Eagles at every position, mixes up rosters

Ryan Clark has fallen out of favor pretty quickly in the sports media landscape. Following his back and forth with Peter Schrager, telling Peter his opinion isn’t on his level because he never played the sport, a lot of media members and fans have distanced themselves from Clark.

While that may have been the straw that broke the camels back, Ryan Clark has been saying dumb shit for awhile now. His latest hot take includes the Eagles and everyone’s favorite Super Bowl pick, the Green Bay Packers.

Clark went on First Take, looked the audience in the eyes, and said the Packers are better at every single position than the Eagles. To backup his claim, he cited Green Bay’s GM going out and getting Z’Darius Smith and Tank Bigsby (they’re on the Eagles).

We are two games in the NFL season. Nobody knows what any team truly is yet — that’s a fact. Green Bay looks good, yes. They also played a team in Detroit that I think might actually suck and the oldest team in the league in Washington on a short week. Let’s calm down a bit.

I know Ryan Clark just wants to stay relevant so he’s saying whatever he can to get clip farmed, but he’s wrong. I’d still take the Birds over Green Bay in a heart beat. There’s a lot of football left to be played.
