Kansas City Crybabies: Chiefs players throw hands, hissy fits during 20-17 loss to Eagles
The Philadelphia Eagles beat the Kansas City Chiefs in a nail-biter of a Super Bowl LIX rematch. The Birds remained cool, calm, and collected throughout the defensive slugfest, but the other guys decided to go full crybaby mode pretty early on in the game.
Chiefs players exhibited poor sportsmanship and even got downright violent, totally embarrassing themselves in the process:
Yeah, it was. KC's Nikko Remigio shoves Jeremiah Trotter Jr's face while he's on the ground. Super nice. https://t.co/QuZfC0a0RL pic.twitter.com/JRWd77Th43

Of course, there’s also Jalen Hurts telling Chris Jones to shut his ass up. That was deserving of its own blog courtesy of Brian Cass.
The worst part of this is, outside of Chris Jones acting like a bitch all game long, these moments were brought to us by two absolute nobodies. It’s bad enough they acted like children, but it’s even worse when total no-names are the perpetrators
Jaylen Watson? Nikko Remigio? Who the fuck even are these guys? So much for a championship culture.
Some might say this is a bold statement, but it’s clear this game is the end of the Chiefs’ dynasty as we know it. What was once a team that was feared throughout the league has been reduced to a group of snot-nosed brats that can’t handle losing to a superior football team.
It’s genuinely embarrassing to watch. I really respected Kansas City’s ability to win in pretty much any circumstances. Sure, Mahomes has always been a bit of a bitch, but his talent and poise were undeniable.
Now, after beating the brakes off them in Super Bowl LIX and this embarrassing display, I’m prepared to move on from viewing the Chiefs as anything but gum on the bottom of the shoe of a Super Bowl Champion.
The Eagles have robbed them of their most potent superpower: their mystique. Teams now not only know that they can be beaten, but that you can get under their skin pretty easily.
So, while the Chiefs look for answers, the Eagles are looking for their next challenger out of the AFC. What a difference an offseason makes.
