Jordan Mailata dismantles claims that the Eagles’ success depends on the Tush Push

There’s a growing sentiment in sports media that the Eagles need the Tush Push to be successful, and Jordan Mailata is having none of it.

During an appearance on 94WIP Tuesday afternoon, he cleared the air, saying the thought of it, “Makes my blood boil.”

Jordan Mailata: “The Tush Push is not the reason we’re successful”

Jordan Mailata thinks it is "bullcrap" that members of the national media believe the Eagles NEED the tush push to win.

Mailata is spot on there with everything. The Eagles defense is still one of the best units in football, their special teams has been lights out too in both the kicking and punting department. The offense is struggling, no one’s denying that, but to think all of their success boils down to a one-yard play where the Eagles gained a net of five yards on Sunday, is complete rubbish.

Just be honest about it — do you really think if the Eagles couldn’t do the Tush Push, they wouldn’t score touchdowns? They have the best offensive line and running back in football. What are we even talking about here?

Jordan Mailata has every right to be upset. We’re only two games into the season, the bitching and complaining is only just beginning. Buckle up.
