WATCH: Adam Schefter trips over himself on the Tush Push, gets checked by John Kincade

Adam Schefter has officially entered clown territory with this Tush Push nonsense. After his ridiculous take on the Eagles beating the Chiefs because the play wasn’t banned back in March, he had a chance to walk it back gracefully. Instead, he decided to double down, backpedal, and call Eagles fans “too sensitive” in the same breath.

The NFL Deep State is Real:

“Let me be very clear on how much my opinion has changed on the [tush push], absolutely zero! I have zero problems with the play. When I said that game was won because it wasn’t voted against in the spring that’s a fact. That’s not an anti-tush push play.”

That was Adam Schefter, trying to sound definitive while saying something that made absolutely no sense. It wasn’t a fact. It wasn’t even close.

Shoutout to John Kincade for stepping in and pushing back. He rattled off actual plays that decided the game. Anyone who was watching knows the Mukuba interception, the Hurts goal-line touchdown and the Chiefs failing to convert on 4th-and-1 was ultimately the deciding factors in their loss at home, in Arrowhead.

You know, football things. Meanwhile Adam Schefter was out here doing verbal gymnastics, trying to convince the world his original take wasn’t completely brain-dead.

Adam Schefter realized he sounded stupid, tried to act tough by doubling down, then tucked his tail between his legs when the pushback came. And when all else failed, he went to the most tired card in the deck: “Eagles fans are too sensitive.” That’s not analysis, that’s loser behavior.

I used to actually like Adam Schefter. Guy always seemed harmless enough, just reporting texts from agents and GMs like a robot.

Unfortunately this whole episode with the Tush Push exposed him for the NFL Deep State Shill that he truly is. He’s not some neutral insider, at all. He’s protecting the people who were embarrassed all offseason because their teams couldn’t figure out how to stop a one-yard QB sneak.

The Tush Push lives rent free in every opponent’s head.

It’s broken defensive coordinators, it’s broken talking heads, and now it’s broken Adam Schefter. He got caught slipping, and instead of owning it, he kept digging.

Thank God John Kincade was there to meet him in the trenches. Keep an eye on The Fanatic. I think they are starting to find their groove over there. Meanwhile, when you flip the dial to the other station and they’re crying about Kevin Patullo after Week 2.
