Rams vs. Eagles: Best Bets, Props, and Why Jalen Hurts in the End Zone Feels Like Free Money

It’s Week 3 and the Birds are back home at the Linc with a chance to bury another NFC contender before the season even starts to heat up. The Rams have looked sharp early against cupcake opponents, while the Eagles are already battle-tested after beating Dallas and Kansas City.

Oddsmakers have Philly sitting at -3.5 with a total around 44.5, and if you’ve got any sense at all, you’re circling Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley for props.

Jalen Hurts Anytime TD (-140)

This is more like an ATM machine than a bet at this point. The Tush Push has defenses crying on national TV, and Hurts is three-for-three on rushing touchdowns to open the season.

He’s scored in 15 of his last 21 games, and he doesn’t need the sneak to make it happen. Designed runs, broken plays, scrambles, it’s all on the table. If you’re scared off by -140, you don’t actually like money.

Saquon Barkley Over 89.5 Rushing Yards (-107)

The Rams are probably still having nightmares about Barkley after last season when he dropped 460 yards and four touchdowns on them across two games. Nothing’s changed. Philly’s offensive line is still mowing people down, and Barkley’s workload is locked in at 20+ carries a game. He barely missed this number last week, finishing with 88 against Kansas City. If Tony Pollard can clear 90 against LA, Saquon should blow past it.

Davante Adams Over 59.5 Receiving Yards (-112)

This is the one spot where the Rams might actually push back. Adams has already topped 100 yards once this year, and he’s Stafford’s go-to outside of Puka Nacua. The Eagles’ young corners have shown flashes, but if there’s a weak spot, it’s still the secondary. Adams doesn’t need 10 catches to cash this, just one or two of those classic iso deep shots.

The Pick: Eagles -3.5

The Rams have looked solid, but beating Houston and Tennessee isn’t exactly a resume-builder. Philly’s defensive line is going to make Stafford uncomfortable, and Barkley + Hurts on the ground will control the tempo.

The Tush Push is basically a cheat code on short yardage, and the Rams don’t have the interior muscle to stop it. This game feels like another grind-it-out Eagles win where the line holds and Hurts’ legs seal it late, but I think we’ll see a lot of adjustments and the passing game separate the Birds to an easy victory and 3-0 record.

Final score prediction: Eagles 31, Rams 20.
