WATCH: Jalen Hurts crashes Jordan Davis’ postgame interview after Eagles’ comeback win
Jalen Hurts isn’t exactly Mr. Personality when it comes to showing emotion in front of the cameras. He’s usually stone-faced, measured, and businesslike to the point where you wonder if the guy ever actually enjoys football. That’s why what happened after the Eagles’ wild comeback win over the Rams felt so different.
As Jordan Davis wrapped up a postgame interview after literally blocking the Rams’ game-winning field goal attempt and taking it to the house, Hurts entered the room, cut right in, and made sure his guy got his flowers. It was genuine, it was human, and it was the kind of moment you don’t usually get from QB1.

Gotta love it. It’s even better since the Eagles stormed back late in the second half after being down 26-7 in the third quarter, the Birds looked cooked. Instead of packing it in, Hurts, Davis, and the rest of the team flipped the switch right there on the field, rattling off 26 unanswered points and leaving the Rams stunned.

That kind of turnaround doesn’t happen without leadership at the top and dogs in the trenches. Davis made the game-winning play, but Hurts made sure everyone knew it was a team effort. Moments like this are why the Eagles are 3-0 and why Philly feels like it’s got something special brewing.
