Defend Bethpage: Scottie Scheffler defends fellow patriot Bryson DeChambeau against ridiculous attacks from Brandel Chamblee
We’re just days away from the first tee at Bethpage Black, and Bryson DeChambeau is already dominating the Ryder Cup headlines.
Shocker, right? The second Bryson’s name was confirmed for this U.S. team, you knew the circus was rolling into town.
On Monday, suspected domestic terrorist Brandel Chamblee wasted zero time firing up the hate machine, calling Bryson a “captain’s nightmare” and claiming his YouTube audience is full of bots.
Disgusting behavior.
There’s nothing more un-American than tearing down one of your own days before the Ryder Cup.
Brandel Chamblee is right about a lot of things, but this ain’t one of them.
The Ryder Cup is about American dominance, about making sure Europe gets sent back across the pond empty-handed. Taking shots at Bryson DeChambeau right now is reckless, pointless, and flat-out embarrassing.
If Chamblee keeps it up, then we’ve got no choice but to slap the “domestic threat” label on him until the Ryder Cup is over.
As expected, Tuesday rolled around, and Bryson DeChambeau’s actual teammates and fellow patriots started speaking up and surprise, surprise, they had nothing but praise.
Scottie Scheffler, who went 1-0-1 with Bryson at Whistling Straits, called him a tremendous partner and “a tremendous guy to be on the golf course with.”
Scottie Scheffler rightfully claimed that Bryson brings energy, loves representing his country, and he’s ready to unleash him this week.

Xander Schauffele echoed the same thing: “Bryson is like, this is his arena… If he views himself as a gladiator golfer, this is as good as it gets.” He went on to say Bryson’s celebrations will hit harder than most, because that chaos juice will have Bethpage fired up instantly.
Even Captain Keegan Bradley, the calmest man alive, admitted this team needs Bryson’s energy. “We have a lot of mellow guys, so we need the energy from Bryson, and he brings that every day.”

Bryson DeChambeau is quite literally the guy this weekend.
The man is a complete psychopath, and that’s exactly why he’s the perfect weapon for Team USA at Bethpage.
He thrives in chaos, feeds off the madness, and he’s about to give both the team and a frothing, pro-America gallery the jolt of energy they’ve been waiting for. Bryson knows the stakes. He’s the X-factor, the guy you absolutely want walking onto that tee box when the whole world is watching.
He’s a lunatic in the best possible way, and nothing plays better than that on the sacred grounds of Bethpage Black with thousands of Americans foaming at the mouth, ready to watch him torch Europe.
