Shocking Twist: Jeff McLane reveals AJ Brown’s cryptic tweet was aimed at someone within the Eagles organization
When in doubt, leave it to Jeff McLane to crack the code.
We all kinda knew AJ Brown’s cryptic Tweets after Sunday’s win over Tampa were about the Eagles. For those who were clueless, McLane’s got you covered. In his most recent act of Big J journalism, he revealed that the Tweets were in fact directed towards someone within the Eagles organization.
Thank you for your service, Jeff McLane
Is anyone really surprised by this? Of course it was aimed at someone inside the organization. Who exactly it targets is another question — one McLane leaves unanswered. After all, doing real hard-hitting journalism might be a little too much work.
It could be anyone! Jalen Hurts, Kevin Patullo, Nick Sirianni, everyone’s fair game right now. I don’t really mind when AJ Brown stirs things up, but it’s… odd. If you really believe in the quote you shared — “If you’re not welcomed, not listened to, quietly withdraw. Don’t make a scene. Shrug your shoulders and be on your way” — then why not just shrug your shoulders and move on? Why keep talking about it? The irony here feels impossible to miss.
If you don’t want to make a scene, then don’t make a scene. This is the exact opposite of quietly withdrawing, AJ. You’re actually being very loud about it.
Until AJ Brown actually requests a trade, it’s all just noise. And who knows, maybe Jeff McLane will be the one to break that story too.
