Broncos All-Pro gives Quinyon Mitchell his flowers, says he’s a Top-5 corner

Quinyon Mitchell is getting the recognition he deserves, and it’s coming from the very top. Game recognizes game, and when Pat Surtain — the unquestioned CB1 in the NFL right now — singles him out, we have to talk about it.

He sat down with Shady and Emmanuel Acho on their new show SpeakEasy and when asked to give his top-five corners in the game right now, he shouted out our guy.

You just love to see it. Obviously, everyone in Philly loves Quinyon and knows he’s legit. But nationally, I don’t get the sense that he’s getting the respect he deserves. If you ask a random NFL fan who the Eagles best corner is, they’ll probably say Cooper DeJean. Which is fine, Coop is a beast too. But Quinyon is an All-Pro in the making, no question.
