Saudi Sixers celebrate monumental step at Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque as Islamic Royalty talks advance

Are the Sixers about to be bought by Saudi royalty? It wouldn’t be the most shocking thing to happen this year.

The Saudis just finalized their purchase of EA Sports, which will now allow players to relocate their Madden franchises to Abu Dhabi (very excited for this). They have the money to buy just about anything, including our Sixers. With owner Josh Harris inexplicably appearing in a recent release of the Epstein Files, anything is on the table.

Joel Embiid and company even traveled to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in the United Arab Emirates this week, showcasing their loyalty to their new potential owners.

Saudi Sixers has a nice ring to it, honestly

Apparently ‘NBA in Abu Dhabi’ is a thing. Never knew about it until I started writing this. Philly will play a preseason game out there against the Knicks.

Since our country is going bankrupt, both financially and morally, it only makes sense to sell off some of most valuable commodities to authoritarian regimes in the Middle East. It’s simple math — we recoup some of the costs we’ve poured into foreign regime change wars, while maintaining our image of capitalist kings. It’s genius, really.

I don’t know how the Sixers found themselves in this equation, but here we are. Before you know it, the entire NBA might be owned by the Saudis. China probably won’t be very happy about that, but that’s a blog for another day.
