Kelee Ringo takes a page out of the Nick Sirianni book to try and save his season
When in doubt, shave the head. It worked for Nick Sirianni last year and the Eagles won the Super Bowl. This year, it’s Kelee Ringo’s turn.
After a rough start to the season, Ringo went full Baldianni and chopped the dreads for a clean buzz cut. Reset button officially hit.
Bald Kelee Ringo will save the season
If this actually works two years in a row, I might have to shave my head too. Life’s going fine for me, but if buzzing your dome in Philadelphia guarantees prosperity and success, then hand me the clippers.
Let’s be honest, Ringo has been borderline unplayable this season. He owns a 51.5 grade on Pro Football Focus, ranking 135th out of 171 qualifying corners. He’s also giving up a 93.4 passer rating and allowing opponents to complete 61.5 percent of their throws his way.
And yet, the Eagles are stuck rolling him out there. Adoree Jackson is old and cooked. At least Ringo still has something resembling upside.
Hopefully he figures it out, because the bald Kelee Ringo era has to be better than the dreadlocks era. It literally cannot get worse.
