Patriots fans try to manifest AJ Brown trade by making up fake ‘sources’ to drive engagement

AJ Brown watch is officially in clown-world territory. Apparently — and let me stress how unserious this is — some random guy claims the Patriots thought they could steal AJ Brown from the Eagles for a second-round pick. Sure, buddy.

There’s been so much noise around AJ lately that it’s honestly becoming comical. He says a couple things online, doesn’t show up to something, breathes incorrectly, and suddenly people start building Hogwarts-level fantasy universes about his relationship with the Eagles.

Now we’ve got this dude tossing nonsense into the timeline for engagement — and of course it worked. That’s how the internet goes: say something brain-dead, watch people freak out, rinse, repeat.

The Eagles are not trading AJ Brown in-season, give it up.

One scroll through this guy’s profile and it’s clear what’s going on — dude was just trying to juice his engagement. No motion. Zero. But if you say something that stupid about an Eagles player, the mob is gonna find you, as seen in the absolute burial happening in his replies.

This Matt fella even tried doubling down by chirping Eagles fans, and nobody bit. Tough scene. Classic “please notice me” energy.

Anyway, time to move on from this nonsense and enjoy the bye week. The Birds are back next Monday night, fully healthy, with AJ Brown in the lineup and ready to run the table again. I’ll see my fellow patriots there. Fly Eagles Fly.
