Counterpoint: Bill Belichick attending Jordon Hudson’s adult cheerleading competition proves their love is built to last

A lot of folks online have been putting down the relationship between UNC head coach Bill Belichick and UNC student Jordon Hudson. There has been plenty of talk online about how their 49-year age difference is “gross” and that their general behavior since going public has been “weird as fuck,” and, for the most part, I agree.

Despite that, I think I’ve come full circle on these two lovebirds. The reason? Sweet Baby Bill came out to support Jordon at her *checks notes* adult cheerleading competition.

Honestly, this is a level of commitment from Bill Belichick I haven’t seen since the 2010s:

I mean, is that not the cutest thing you ever did see? That old grouch made his way to support his lovely girlfriend at her adult cheer competition. I feel like if I keep saying it, I’ll comprehend this situation, but it hasn’t worked yet.

Is this entire concept completely insane? Sure, I’ll give you that. But love makes us crazy. I once watched god knows how many episodes of Love Island just to have something to talk to this one girl about. And I did that just because I thought she was hot.

This is certified loverboy shit from Bill Belichick. No two ways about it. He loves this woman truly, madly, deeply.

They have what everyone wants. And, while I agree some stuff about them’s batshit crazy, they’re in love. With another human being, no less! The way things are going now, that could become increasingly rare as people opt to date their phone instead of a person.

I’ve included her routine below. All I’ll say is this: with how meticulously detailed Belichick was as a coach, it’s impressive he managed to sit through this. This is what true love looks like.

Very real and legitimate journalist. I don't see a loss on the schedule.
