Patriots Fans trolled into oblivion by Ricochet During AEW Show in Boston

The Philadelphia Eagles’ crossover into professional wrestling isn’t something I expected—or thought I needed—this week. From WWE Raw to AEW Wednesday night (which, by the way, I’m not a fan of), the Eagles managed to leave their mark in more ways than one.

First Big Dom and Cooper DeJean flexed their Super Bowl hardware in Madison Square Garden and now Ricochet who is a former WWE guy trolled those gross Patriots fans in Boston. What’s almost more gross than Boston fans is the fact that Ricochet is wrestling for that B-tier company.

I’m sure I upset some AEW fan with that comment but let’s be honest man, AEW blows. Even on their best day, they can’t touch WWE on it’s worst. The only good thing that company has for it is my girl Mercedes Mone and MJF. Who both will probably sign massive WWE contracts in the coming years. Anyhow, back to our regularly scheduled programming.

Just moments before Ricochet stepped into the ring against Bobby Lashley, the dude grabbed a mic and instantly made every New England fan in the building regret showing up.

Dressed in Eagles gear, standing in enemy territory, he let the Boston crowd have it with this absolute heater:

“OK, OK, so the first thing that I wanna say… is FLY EAGLES FLY on the road to victory, baby! Ha ha haaa! Whooo! I know y’all don’t remember what it’s like to win the Super Bowl. It’s been quite some time, but we riding high right now. We’re feeling real good.”

This is like a total bucket list moment for me personally as I’ve been a pro wrestling fan my whole life. As a matter of fact, I would love nothing more than to waltz in the middle of Jerry’s World in front of those Cowboys fans and flex all my Eagles Super Bowl merch myself. There’s just something about being a heel.

You’d have to be a wrestling fan to understand that. Something I am still trying to convince Drew Smith to get into. But for some reason he thinks he’s too cool to watch it.

Now back to our guy Ricochet

This dude has been on a heater all year when it comes to weaponizing the Birds for cheap heat. Back in October, he was spotted at the Dallas airport rocking an Eagles hat like it was a championship belt—making sure every miserable Cowboys fan on sight got a good look at it before he unleashed a promo calling the Cowboys trash cans.

While I can always appreciate a good Dallas Cowboys troll job, there’s something sweet about what Ricochet did last night it Boston. I still have hatred for them spanning back to the Super Bowls and obviously the Celtics. The Pats are just now relevant again after being a total joke since Tom Brady left.

It would certainly be something if we got an Eagles vs. Patriots Part 3 in the Super Bowl, now wouldn’t it? Maybe by then, Ricochet will come back to WWE where he belongs and can be used properly.
