I have no idea how this is an offensive pass interference on AJ Brown
I have absolutely no idea how this was called pass interference on AJ Brown.
At this point, NFL officiating feels like a random number generator wearing stripes. There is zero continuity. What’s offensive pass interference today was perfectly fine yesterday.
What was a flag last week magically won’t be a flag next week. It is completely unpredictable and honestly embarrassing for a league that prints more money than every other sport combined.
I’ve said this before and I’ll keep saying it. Any call a ref makes should be challengeable. Same challenge rules as now. Same timeouts. Same everything. The only difference is that every single penalty should be reviewable because these refs are changing games with bad calls and there is no accountability.
The wildest part is that players like CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens pull this exact move on every route with not one ounce of interest from the officials. AJ Brown does it once and suddenly the entire crew decides to find their whistle. Make it make sense.
