Confirmed: Kevin Patullo’s house was egged after ugly loss to Bears
The Eagles offense is an absolute disaster right now, and nobody in Philadelphia is pretending otherwise. Kevin Patullo has become the face of the team’s meltdown, the chants are getting louder, and the “Fire Kevin” movement has taken over every corner of the fanbase.
What happened this weekend is a new level of stupid. According to Moorestown Police, multiple kids showed up at what is believed to be Kevin Patullo’s home in New Jersey and threw eggs at the house after the Eagles’ ugly 24-15 loss to the Bears.
A video immediately made its way to social media, where people assumed rocks were being thrown, but police clarified it was eggs. The investigation is ongoing.
Kevin Patullo’s House Egged After Bears Loss
Disgusting Behavior: Eagles fans allegedly throw rocks at Kevin Patullo’s home
This is ridiculous, embarrassing, and exactly the type of behavior that gets the entire Philadelphia fan base dragged every single time something goes wrong.
The Eagles offense is ranked near the bottom of the league across the board. Everyone is frustrated. Everyone is fed up. Throwing anything at a coach’s home crosses a line that has nothing to do with football. Kevin Patullo has a family. Kids live there. It is not a prop. It is not a meme backdrop. It is a real person’s house.
This is the kind of nonsense that is going to be talked about across national media shows all week. We booed on Black Friday, they hammered us.
We chanted “Fire Kevin,” they hammered us again. Now a bunch of high-school brained idiots in South Jersey decided to egg a coach’s home like they were filming a TikTok prank. Congratulations. This is why we are constantly defending the fanbase from narratives written 30 years ago.
The worst part is that this is exactly what happens when kids hear adults raging online, making jokes, venting, and posting memes without considering who actually takes things literally. These are kids with permits and 11 p.m. curfews who think going viral is more important than respecting someone’s home.
They hear the jokes and the outrage, and because kids are idiots, they think the next step is to take it into the real world.
Wanting Kevin Patullo out as play caller is not the problem.
We all want him gone. Sirianni saying “we are not changing the playcaller” made half the city lose its mind. None of us are storming the suburbs at midnight with a carton of eggs.
This stunt does not represent Eagles fans. It represents a handful of clowns who never learned the difference between frustration and vandalism. You want to put up a sign on Pattison Avenue? Fine. You want to yell on social media? Fine. You want Patullo replaced? Join the club. Everyone is miserable right now.
Going to a coach’s house is pathetic and it is beyond anything this fanbase should ever be associated with. The Eagles are 8-4 with five games left to save the season. Patullo is still calling plays. Sirianni says nothing is changing. Everyone is tense right now. The last thing we need is a headline about a few idiots making all of us look bad.
Go Birds. Use your brain. That is the message.
